Karamjit
and Jagdev simply too good for the rest of the field
The Star, 25/5/2008
PETALING JAYA: Karamjit Singh
and co-driver Jagdev Singh finished first overall in the
second round of the Malaysian Rally Championships (MRC),
which ended in Perlis yesterday.
Karamjit-Jagdev won the two-day competition
in 2'06:37 ahead of GSR Pennzoil Racing team-mates Gunaseelan
Rajoo-Jayaselan Rajoo, who finished in 2'15:17.
Gunaseelan, who is also the team manager,
said the combination of two strong drivers gave the team
their best-ever result.
“We clocked some good
times yesterday and that gave us a comfortable lead to start
the second day on a more cautious note. Thankfully we had
no major problems and completed all the stages with good
enough times to stay ahead of the field,” he said.
