Wheel Sport Management (“WSM”) is Malaysia’s leading motor rally promoter.

WSM was established with the main aim of promoting motor sports especially rallying in Malaysia. Its present mission is to develop the Malaysian Rally Championship to a world status event while giving opportunities to local drivers to enhance their skills and compete among the world best rally drivers.

While concentrating on its mission, it also provides avenues for sponsors and advertisers to be a part of the growing event in Malaysia with an unlimited target audience. The key personnel of the organisation consist of people with qualified management skills and vast interest in motor sports.

WSM is a family owned company. Incorporated in 2000, its first Chairman was the late YABM Raja Tun Mohar Raja Badiozaman, who was a prominent corporate figure. His daughter YM Raja Nor Mazli bt Raja Tun Mohar is currently the Managing Director of WSM. The founder of WSM is YAM Tengku Shaharin Abu Bakar Almarhum Tengku Suleiman. Passionate about motor sports, he is a well known figure in the industry. Having previously competed in motor sports events, he is now a seasoned organizer of international and local motor sports events.

Tengku Shaharin was the founder of the Perlis Motor sports Club and was its President from 1996 to 2004. Currently Tengku Shaharin heads the Automobile Association of Malaysia (“AAM”) Rally Commission and is also an AAM appointed Steward.

WSM’s management team also includes employees who with them bring vast experience in motor sports event management. They are then supported by the members of Perlis Motor sports Club who themselves are keen motor sports supporters and have been involved in the sports since its inception.

WSM has been organizing, promoting and assisting in various international and local motor sports event. Among others are:

• - Malaysian National Rally Championship 2001 – 2007
   - AAM Malaysian Rally Championship 2001,2004, 2005
   - Perodua AAM Malaysian Rally Championship 2002, 2003
   - FELDA AAM Malaysian Rally Championship 2006, 2007

• MALAYSIAN RALLY 2003 and 2004– FIA- Asia Pacific Rally Championship Observer Round

• FIA – Asia Pacific Rally Championship Round 2005, 2006, 2007

• LONDON - SYDNEY MARATHON RALLY 2000 in conjunction with the Sydney Olympics

• SILVERSTONE ASIA 4X4 CROSS COUNTRY RALLY 2001

• SILVERSTONE Tarmac Rally Series 2003

• Conducted rally clinics with the support of PERODUA throughout Malaysia to encourage new and young drivers into the exciting world of rallying

• 2008 Promoter of the reality TV show: “Malaysia’s Next Rally Champion, 5,4,3,2,1,zero to hero! “

• Organized Sprint Challenge in 2003 for Kementerian Belia & Sukan
