PROTON UNBEATABLE

JOHOR BAHRU - The Proton Team were just unbeatable at the Malaysian Rally 2011 Championship at the Tai Tak Estate in Kota Tinggi, Johor.

ATKINSON LEADS AFTER THE FIRST LEG OF MR11

JOHOR BAHRU - Chris Atkinson is now the man to beat in the Malaysian Rally Championship 2011 over the terrains of the Tai Tak Estate in Kota Tinggi,Johor.

The Australian driver took his Proton Satria Neo across the estimated 150km race yesterday to finish well ahead of the rest to take a firm grip on the Asia Pacific Rally Championship title which he is eyeing. MORE >>


THE ACTION BEGINS IN JOHOR BARU

JOHOR BAHRU - Japan's Yuya Sumiyama is the fastest of them all alongside Indonesia's Rifat Sungkar on the opening day of the Malaysian Rally 2011 in Johor Baru.

Over the purposes built 2.5km dirt track for the special stage race on Friday, the two of them in a similiar Mitsubishi Evo X, clocked a similiar 2mins 02.1secs to finish at the top. MORE >>

CODY JOINS PENNZOIL GSR

Australian reigning Champion and 4 times Asia Pacific Rally Champion (APRC), Cody Crocker has joined team Pennzoil GSR for the 2011 season of the Malaysian Rally Championship.

39 year old Crocker, is the only driver that has successfully defended the Asia Pacific Rally Championship title 4 consecutive times; including career wins of 34 outright and 24 wins in APRC events under his belt. He will be driving a Subaru Impreza STI Version 10 in this years Malaysian Rally Championship and will also represent the team for Malaysian Rally 2011 (MR 11) Asia Pacific Round in Johor. MORE >>


'KL RALLY DAY' A SUCCESS!

KUALA LUMPUR - Exclusive organiser, Wheel Sport Management brought rally out of the plantations and onto the busy streets of the city with 'KL Rally Day', proving to be a success not only among locals but tourists.

The three competing teams - Proton Motorsports, Pennzoil GSR Racing Team, and MRU Motorsports created quite a commotion at Bukit Bintang, Sogo, Pusat Bandar Damansara, and Damansara Uptown with their attention grabbing cars and loud revs.

The parade was an effort by the organizers to expose the sport to the masses and also as a treat to the existent rally fans in Kuala Lumpur. MORE >>


Crocker returns for Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand

For multiple Australian and Asia-Pacific Rally Champion Cody Crocker 2010 was an extremely lean year. A new year though and fresh opportunities have presented themselves, Crocker confirming a limited Asia-Pacific campaign followed on with an all-out assault on the Malaysian Rally Championship.

"Last year was definitely tough," admitted Crocker. "It's hard after so many years competing continuously to suddenly find, through no fault of your own, that everything has dried up. MORE >>


FIA ASIA PACIFIC RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP (APRC), MALAYSIAN RALLY 2011 (MR11) - 1-3 April, 2011

KUALA LUMPUR - Be on the lookout for Asia-Pacific & Malaysia Rally Championship cars this Wednesday 23rd March from 11am till 5pm as they parade through the streets of Klang Valley, bringing the rally to the road as part of the KL Rally Day.

Team Proton Motorsports, Pennzoil GSR, and MRU Motorsports will be revving up beasts such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, Subaru Impreza WRX, Proton Gen-2 and both the Proton Satria Neo 1.6 as well as the Proton Satria Neo S2000. MORE >>

Once again, "SELAMAT DATANG" to all competitors, teams, media representatives a rally enthusiasts. We once again, are proud to be the host of FIA APRC MALAYSIAN RALLY 2011 (mr11). This year Malaysia is very proud to be hosting first and the opening round of the APRC in 2011.

Rally has become a major spectator-sport event in Malaysia. Drivers on the APRC circuit have inspired many young and new talents to take up rallying in Malaysia. With that, our Reality TV Show called "Zero.2.Hero" has gained much publicity and viewers since it was first launched in 2008.

It is our mission and goal to cultivate this spirit of rallying in the hearts and minds of our young potentials by hosting this rally event in the country. We would like to assure you a challenging and exciting event that will take place in the district of Kota Tinggi, Johor.
